Pattern help

I have a pattern I am working on and it has 48 rows of pattern and it has wrap and turns the first half of the pattern and now I’m on row 24 and it goes up to stitch 32 where I pick up a wrap but there are 10 stitches left to the end of the row and no instructions for them do I just knit them?

What pattern are you using? I’m inclined to say knit to the end of the row but it’s hard to be sure without more info.

Have you seen the video for this hat? It’s part of a series.

Row 26 is at about 8:00min where the wrap is picked up and then the knitting is turned.

only issue with that is i have been nitting in the round with double pointed needles lol
this looks like based off of the video i am gonna have to take it apart and do it flat

Were you knitting from the top down or bottom up? I don’t understand where you were joining to knit in the round?

the top i thought lol

Your knitting looks lovely, nice and even.
Hmm, in the pattern, the short rows form the crown decreases. It’s not clear to me how the directions would work in a top down hat. It seems that it would give you shaping on one side of the hat with odd increases and decreases.

If you want the hat with the crown edge and decreases at the other end of the row, you probably do have to work it flat.

There are ways to make this hat top down or bottom up but the directions would be totally different.

I think we get into autopilot and automatically think, join to knit in the round for hats. I can say with certainty that you’re not the only one to ever do something like this. Thanks for the pattern link. I think I might make this myself. And thanks to @salmonmac for the video link.
