Pattern help

Hi guys I’m new to knitting and don’t understand this part of the pattern can anyone help please?

Hi Milliegirl.
You’re going to be doing dec st(s), some on the neck edge some on the raglan edge, and some on both edges. Assume row 1 is the first row of boxed instructions:
Dec 1st at the neck edge on rows: 1 - 6, 8, 10, 14
AND ALSO
Dec 1 st at raglan/arm edge of rows: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16

Lastly, work 8 rows using F (I’m guessing F is a chart?) ending on a WS row.

Hi thx I’ve made a mistake I didn’t decrease at raglan edge on the rows you stated how can I rectify this?

I don’t know of any way other than to tink or rip back, whichever you prefer. @salmonmac - do you have any suggestions?

If you’re just a row or so off on the raglan edge, it may be ok. For example, if you decreased on row 1,3,5, 7, etc. it may be fine because the basic spacing is the same. If you decreased every 4 rows or more, then the only thing for it is to rip back as rcubed mentioned to before the raglan decreases and think of it all as experience.
Can you remember which rows you did decrease on?

Hi
I deceased I decreased at raglan edge on rows 2 4 6 8 10 and 14 is that right

That’s good. You need one more decrease at the raglan edge on row 16 and you’ll be fine.
Where are you up to now? Have you worked the 8 rows in color F? You may still be able to make that last raglan decrease.

Hi
There aren’t 8 rows of f the f stands for a colour and the pattern said work 1 row completing 8 rows in f so that’s what I’ve done hope it’s right

This is the left front

That looks great! Whatever you’ve done for the raglan decreases looks very nice. Just make sure that the sleeve decreases at the raglans match up.
What is the name of your pattern? The sweater looks darling.

It’s called paintbox cardigan it was free off the internet
