Please can someone explain how to reverse the shoulder/neck shapings on the Rowan Charisma pattern.

What size are you making, first, second, third?
This is actually written quite nicely for reversing the shaping at the neck edge. After you slip the center sts to a holder, work across the row, turn and work back on the ws row to the neck edge. Turn and decrease 1 stitch at the neck edge then finish the row. Decrease 1 stitch at the neck edge on the next rows depending on your size.
Knowing the size you’re making will make is easier to explain the shoulder and continuing neck shaping.
I’m making the second size.
OK, then after you slip the center sts to a holder, work across the row, turn and work back on the ws row to the neck edge. Turn and decrease 1 stitch at the neck edge then finish the row.
Now, with the ws facing cast off 6sts at the beginning of the row. This is the armhole edge. Call it row 1. Then cast off 6sts at the beginning of rows 3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21 and 23.
At the same time dec 1 stitch at the neck edge of rows 2,3,4,5,6 and then rows 8,10,12,14,16 and 20.
Work one row and then cast off the remaining 7sts.
Sometimes is helps to draw a diagram of these decreases and cast off, checking them off as you knit. A chart can also be a help to keep track.
