Pattern help

#1

Hi - knitting a sweater and wondering if the pattern has a mistake in the increase rounds:

Rnd 1: (Kfb twice, work in established rib to 2 sts before marker, Kfb twice, sm) to end of round. 16st increased
Rnd 2: rib as established
Rnd 3: (Kfb twice, work in established rib to 2 sts before marker, kfb twice, sm, work in established rib to marker, sm) to end of round. 8 sts increased.

I have 3 markers in the round. Are the number of increases correct?

Thanks!!!

Welcome to KH!
What is the name of the pattern?
It reads like increases at raglan seams but in that case there would be 4 markers. Are you possibly missing a marker, maybe one at the beginning of round?

The name of the pattern is Plain Jane Sweater and yes - I wasn’t counting the beginning of round marker so there are 4 markers. So on round 3 I’m only doing the increases every other marker?

Thanks for your help!

In round 1 you increase before and after each marker, 1-4.
In round 3, increase after marker 1 and before marker 2, after marker 3 and before marker 4.
