Pattern help

ok this is from Tubey

Sleeves
Using Crochet Cast On and MC, CO 50 [55, 60, 65, 70] sts onto circular needle.
Work in stockinette st, slipping first st of each row, until work measures 19[20, 21.5, 23, 24.5] inches, ending with a WS row.

K next row onto double-point needles, dividing sts evenly between needles. Place marker and join to begin working in the round. *Cont in stockinette st, working in the round

Does this mean to use the DPNs as I knit the next row? Or do I simply divide the stitches among the DPN’s? I’ve never used the before. And then I just keep knitting right?

And lastly - there is striping - can someone explain the jogless join? is that the right terminology so that the colors look right?

Thanks!!

You can either knit the stitches onto the dpns, or you can just slip them on–whatever makes you feel more comfortable. Slipping on might be easier so you can get them all evenly divided without having to deal with the current working needle in the way.

Jogless Jog

Ingrid ROCKS!! That has to be the fastest reply EVER!!!

Just happened to be hangin’ around.

So Ingrid - does that mean I only do that when I change colors - since it is a stripe and not every 5 rounds?

Her color changes are every 5 rounds. You do it for yours.
