Pattern Help - Work 3 rows even?

Hi, I’m making a baby sweater, but don’t know what [B]work 3 rows even[/B] means. This instruction is preceded by 2 rows that decrease and slip some stitches. Then the instruction says repeat last 4 rows…? So confusing?!

Work 3 rows even means you would knit the next 3 rows in the pattern with no decreases.
