Pattern help with M2 increase

I’d so appreciate any help with this as I’m a bit stuck! Knitting a baby coat from an old Patons pattern (2185).
In the abbreviations it has M.2 = make 2 stitches by knitting into front and back of stitch made on previous row. I’m not sure exactly what to do when I come to the M2 in the 4th row:
3rd row: K2 * yfwd, sl1, k1, psso, k11, k2 tog, yfwd, k2 *
4th row: k2 * m2, k13, m2, k2 *
With the abbrev direction am wondering if I’m to kfb directly into the stitch created by the yfwd in the previous row - that would only add 1 stitch I think? Or does it mean to pick up the bar between stitches and kfb into it - but if so I’m not sure what strand to pick up because of that yfwd.
Sorry if this is a very silly question and thanks in advance!

Very pretty little jacket.
You’ll be knitting into the front and back of the yarn over. Treat it as you would any other stitch. Knitting into the front and back will add one stitch. If your pattern defines m2 as kfb then that’s correct, one additional stitch.

Many thanks for all your help! I’m not a very experienced knitter but can’t wait to get going now. My mum had knit this in the 70s for my sister and my baby wears it now. A very treasured piece. The matching hat is also beautiful. I’m (trying to) make the set for a friend who loved it.
