Pattern help with 2 colours

Hi there, I am wanting to knit a specific dishcloth.
I know how to knit the dishcloth, I’m just wanting to know how to change colour within the cloth.
Its going to be dark blue and I want the M to be yellow.
I have the pattern below, and will also post the picture of the dishcloth.
Is this possible to do? I really want to make this as a gift.
Thank you!

You have a few choices here-

Intarsia- this will require you to have multiple skeins or “butterflies” of yarn for each section. I haven’t done intarsia, but this looks like it will require 5 separate sections of color.

Stranded- This will require carrying two strands (once you get to the letter) across and only knitting with the color you need. It will leave strands across the back, but can be minimized by learning to catch the yarn not used as you go across large areas.

Duplicate stitch- This is done after the cloth is done. You add stitches over the top of others to create the pattern color.

None of these will create a clean back like it is with the solid color, but if you’re okay with that it’s good.

Oh boy. lol
Thank you, sounds a bit tough, I think I would do the second option but would need to youtube how to " catch " the yarn.
I thought it would look neat, as it’s for a sports fan and the two colours are the teams. It’s looking to be a bit of work though.

If it’s the color that’s important you could just do stripes. lol

You can use both hands like I do or hold both yarns in either hand or just drop the one you’re not using and use one at a time.

Here’s how I knit fair isle with two hands and how to catch the floats so they don’t make big long strands. This video she’s knitting in the round. I’ve never done fair isle flat so others might have hints on that.

This one has a good explanation of how to knit with yarn in one hand and what the back looks like. She doesn’t explain catching floats though.
