Pattern help - Two needle baby sweater

:knitting: I am knitting my first baby sweater… I have just finished the last row before shaping for armholes, binding off the stitches for armholes. At this point pattern has me put stiitches on a holder, to free up needles for sleeves… My question is, do I cut the yarn, to continue with the ball of yarn I was using or put the main part of the sweater with that ball of yarn aside, using a different ball of yarn to knit the two sleeves?

The pattern reads:

K to en of row for left front. Sl sts onto a holder (Do I leave yarn attached to work?

Next instructions are:

Sleeves: Cast on 22 sts… Is this with a new ball of yarn?

The instructions for the yoke start:

Sl sts of right front, sts of one sleeve, back sts, the other sleeve sts, ending with left front sts onto the needle.

No where does it mention to attach the yarn, or if I continue as if I never stopped and added the sleeves in…???:knitting:

Just keep using the working yarn to the end of the row. Yes, CO the first sleeve with a new ball of yarn, and co for the other sleeve with the other end of it. When you put all the sts back on the same needle, start knitting with the yarn you left off with at the end of the left front; you’ll be doing a WS row with it.

Thank you suzeeq! Other than knitting mittens and hats, plus some doll clothes, this is as stated my first sweater, I wish that sometimes pattern directions would be a little more clear (I also crochet and though I have more experience with crocheting) sometimes it is trial and error, before you know what the directions mean or get results that at least “looks” right…

Some of them are more detailed than others, but this makes sense when you put all the directions together and don’t think of them as separate bits…
Work the row to the end (the left front), make the sleeves then join all the sts and start knitting at the place where your yarn is.
