Pattern Help - Sweater Sleeves

Hi all,

I’m knitting a baby sweater and I need to knit the sleeves separately. I’m confused by the following:

“Work in st st, increasing 1 st at each end of 3rd and every following 4th row until there are 50 stitches.”

I’m starting with 36 stitches and need to increase to 50 stitches.

Could someone please explain what ‘each end of 3rd and every following 4th row’ means? Thanks!

Repeat last 4 rows (from *)

Choose an inc that works with your st patt and leans appropriately to the slant of the sleeve edge.
