Pattern help...Socks

I’m trying to make my first pair of socks for my husband and here is the pattern I’m using http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/basic-dude-socks
I get lost on row 3 and 4 were it says ” (YO pair reached) ”
what in the world does that mean?

It seems to mean that you have a pair of yo’s. You want the same number of yo’s on each end of the rows. It seems somewhat unnecessary to me to include that as it’s confusing, but maybe it’s included for a reason. Just work the stitches as indicated and you should be fine. Have you seen a video for doing toes this way? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEEX_L0V_iQ I’ve not done toes like this myself and would be interested in knowing how it goes for you.

The yarn over pair refers to the unworked stitch and the yo that is next to it. If you continue on with the pattern rows you’ll see that you get sets of two sts between “turns” and those are defined as the yo pair.
