Pattern help. Shape sleeve top

I am knitting the first sleeve and have run into a problem. I don’t understand what this pattern means for me to do. It says…Dec 1 st at each end of the next 7 rows then 4 foll alt rows.

I decreased at the ends of each row for 7 rows, now I am confused as to what they want next. Help. Any Ideas?

The following 4 alternate rows would mean ever other row 4 times.

So after you finished the final of the 7, you should work one row, then decrease on the next, work one, decrease, etc.
