Pattern help, R3, I'm confused?

I am trying to make the flower from this pattern: http://www.jimmybeanswool.com/freeKnittingPatternAnnaHat.asp

I am totally lost on the R3 instruction for the flower ( towards the bottom of the page)…drop 1 yo loop? Can any one help me with all of R3, actually ??

In the previous row you do 2 YOs, you would drop 1 of them on row3, and knit into the front and back of the other one. KFB is explained with a video on the Increases page if you don’t know how to do that. You do the first P1, then everything between the ** is repeated until the end of the row where you will p1 in the last stitch.
