Pattern help needed

Hi, I am trying to work a pattern I found on the internet the pattern is a top down childs sweater. The pattern is called FANTASY NATURALE Top Down Baby Sweater
The pattern seems to increase around the ‘sleeve seam’ area but it says "Continue working in established pattern increasing 1 st (yo) on each side of each seam st for a total of 8 increases per RS row, until there are 133 (145, 157) sts on needle. " I have been knitting for a long time and I can’t seem to get my project to work out with the correct number of stitches with the ‘seam holes’ in the correct locations. Any suggestions? I have ripped this project out too many times I am about to give up on it. I hate to quit! Thanks.

Hi!
it is easier to help if you link your pattern. I googled it and think this is the one:

So, what you do is mark the center stitch to know where you do the yo.

Then before and after the center stitch, you make a yo on the right side rows. The rest you work in stochinette stitch (work knits on RS and purls on WS, but the button band: knit on both sides, forming garter stitch.)

if you know how to read your knitting (some do and some don’t) you can see the center stitch. If not, I recommend marking it by putting a stitch marker in front of it (from the right side of your knitting). when getting to the marker, you make the yo, then slip the marker and then work the center stitch, then do another yo.
Be careful, that the marker does not “dive under” the yo and gets missplaced. That may happen easily and needs to be corrected then. (no problem, just check it when you get to the marker on the WS rows).

This pattern falls into rythm as soon as you have made a few rows and the strip of holes becomes visible.
