Hello everyone! i just joined! I finally decided to start knitting the urchin hat from Knitty since it’s done flat on size 7 needles it looks great. i just find it a little confusing. so if anyone can help me that would be great!
I’ve already started this pattern over twice! and i just don’t see the “wedges” forming. :grrr:
I’m so confused at the beginning of this pattern. but i really want to knit it so i wont give up ! anyway…
Wedge:
Row 1 [RS]: K to last 2 sts, W&T.
question is: Since this hat pattern is knitted in only garter stitch what do i do after the W&T, do i knit or purl back ?in the opposite direction?
