Pattern Help - Increases

One row of my pattern tells me to do this:

K16, (YO, SSK) twice, K3tog with left needle bring second st on right needle over first st and off the needle, YO, K2tog, YO, increase, K1, increase, (YO, SSK) twice, K3 tog…

It is creating a heart. When increasing in other rows it tells me to work into the front and back of the next stitch.

My question is how do I do the increases in this row? I am used to increasing around knit stitches.

Relatively new to knitting and anything would help.

You still do the kfb so this - YO, increase, K1, increase, (YO, SSK) - is yo, kfb, k1, kfb, yo, ssk. As long as you don’t k1 when you do the YOs, you’ll have enough sts.
