Does any one know where I can find a pattern for a modest sweater dress? I love sweater dresses and would like to make one, but I can’t find a good pattern for one. If it was crochet it might be better than knit, because I can crochet better than I knit. But either would be great! Thanks for your help!

Ravelry, which is free to join, has pages of sweater dresses (amazingly including one for your dog).
Don’t forget, you can also take a sweater pattern (especially one knit top-down) that you like (great collar/pattern/motif) and make it longer to make a dress out of it.
Thanks, I had not thought of lengthening a sweater pattern. That should not be too hard 
I am not much of a knitter though. I will have to ask one of my sisters to help, 2 out of three of my sisters can knit allot better than I do. I can crochet well, but those patterns are not as easy to find.

I was afraid to do cables and only learned how a few months ago, but it’s easy. Give it a try. You would have fun with it.
