Pattern directions

Knitting sweater in the round top down

Pattern reads sl2 2K around. Does this mean repeat to end of round? Knit 2 together? Anything else? Doesn’t say repeat as is usually written in instructions

Immediately after this instruction in parentheses it says

(When slipping stitches, the yarn is always to the back of the work. Yarn forward znd back to make the purl stitch). I get the 1st sentence but am confused by second sentence.

What is the name of your pattern and designer?
Usually the sl2, 2k is written in parentheses or flanked by asterisks to set it off as a set of instructions to be repeated. That said, it makes more sense as a (sl2, 2k) repeat unless there is a different definition in the abbreviations list with the pattern.
Secone sentence seems to be a reminder that although the yarn is held to the back for slip sts, it should be brought forward for any purl stitches and then carried to the back for subsequent slips.

Thanks for your response. It is just written “sl2 2K around. “. No repeat, asterisk or parentheses which I know is usually the case. No definitions in the abbreviation section. This is why I was confused

The pattern is on Ravelry and called Cape Cod Sweater

My best guess is a repeat of (sl2, 2k). It’s a popular name for a sweater. Does the pattern list a designer or publishing company?
