Pattern directions

Hello,
I’m about to begin the body portion of my top down sweater pattern. This is the part that I don’t get:
slip one stitch of raglan line and the right sleeve sts and another 1 st from the next raglan onto waste yarn

What is the name of your pattern and designer?
You’re separating out the top of the sleeve stitches onto a holder or waste yarn. The raglan line may have 2sts so in addition to the sleeves sts between the raglan lines, one stitch of the raglan line on each side of the sleeve sts will be included in the held sts. This will be done again on the other side of the sweater for the second sleeve.

The pattern is Cafe Latte Sweater by Chie Miyagawa

I have 3 stitches between the raglan markers. I knitted 2 and slipped 1 onto the holder. When it says slip another 1 from the next raglan, onto the holder cast on 3 knit 2 remove marker, I don’t have any sts before the marker.

How many sts should be on the holder?

I figured it out. Thank you

That’s the best, when you can see just what the pattern and designer intend. Have fun with the rest of the sweater!

Thanks. I’m not sure if it’s me or the pattern. Lol

It’s not you. Could be the yarn or needles or designer or pattern or… Well anyway you figured it out. Sometimes I read the pattern aloud or have someone read it back to me. Just the different emphasis can help lightening strike for an aha! moment.

Thanks so much. I appreciate the helpful tips.
