Pattern directions question

I’m making a sweater and am at the stage to divide for back and fronts. The final instruction before the Divide says what to do, “ending with a wrong side row.” (i am working in SS, and assume that means ending with the purl row)

The Next row has the divide, with instructions having me knit. (so far so good, since that was the right side) At this point, the stitches are on two holders, with a portion ready to be worked for the left front. Here are the confusing instructions:
“Left Front: Work straight on last set of sts for 2 rows, so ending with a P row.”

my confusion is that I ended before the divide with a wrong side row (i.e Purl); then I divided, knitting across (ie, the right side); If I then work 2 rows on the left front stitches, how can I end with a purl row? wont I be doing first a purl, and then ending with a knit? What am I missing?

Must be a typo, just do one row and then go on to whatever comes next.
