Pattern direction!

Hello!

The project is moving along nicely thanks to some previous advice, but I’ve run into some unclear directions in the pattern.

Now this may be a silly question, but here goes… The pattern reads:

‘Shape Neck
Next Row (Right Side) - K.1, K2tog t.b.l., K.6 and turn, leaving remaining 2 sts. on a st. holder. 8 sts.’

What does ‘… and turn’ mean? Stop, slipping the remaining 2 sts. onto a holder, then continue with the pattern, or is there some hidden bit of meaning there that I’m missing?

Sorry for that, it was, of course, a silly question. Found my answer!

That’s it! Put the two stitches on a holder and turn the work as if you knit them. IF they have you doing this on several rows, I’d suggest putting those two stitches on waste yarn, and adding the other ones to it as you go. It’s just an odd way to shape the neckline.
