A little confused by this pattern can anyone help:
Keeping the 24 rows of the cable correct and bringing extra stitches into seed stitch increase 1 at each end of next and every following 11th row until there are 87 sts
I think it means increase by 1 at each end of the next row then increase by 1 every 11th row.
Am I right?

You’ll increase 2 on the next row, 1 at each end, then 2 on every 11th row. That “at each end part” is easy to miss. What’cha knittin’?
Thanks I thought that was the case. I’m knitting an aron cardigan a little ambitious for a novice but seem to be going ok! up to the sleeves now. When the stitches have been increased is that where i ‘seed’ stitch? so Itll be at the ends of the rows becase this then changes the pattern (if you can understand what I mean??)

Yes, at the ends of the rows is where you’ll do the seed stitch. It sounds like you’re making good progress. Does your pattern define seed stitch? In case it doesn’t, it’s k1, p1 and then on following rows you knit the purls and purl the knits.
It doesnt but I had managed to work it out!
