Hi, I have 48 sts on my needles…This first row in the pattern is not working for me. I come out with 47 sts. I probably need another “pair of eyes” to look at this properly. I realize that I need to repeat from the asterisk and I need to end up with 4 stitches for the last 2 K2tog, yo’s…What am I not seeing properly?? Thanks to all

Rows 1 and 5 (RS): K1, * (yo, ssk) twice, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, (k2tog, yo) twice, k1;
repeat from *, end (k2tog, yo) twice.

Considering the stitch count, I think that you’d work the row across, but instead of ending the final repeat with the k1, you’d be ending with the k2tog, yo.

I worked it out like this:

k (11 stitches for lace) k (11) k (11) k (11) = 48
