Pattern confusion

I am knitting my first baby sweater and the border is finished and starting the body…the pattern says…(RS). P1. K2 0 {1-0-1} time. What does it mean by 0 {1-0-1} the abreviation says 0 means no stitches, times or rows.

That’s right, so if you’re making the smallest or the 3rd size you skip the k2 there and go on to the next set of instructions.

So…if I understand you right…the stuff inside the brackets are the pattern instructions for the larger sizes.
