I found a different dress that seems fairly easy, however I am just a bit confused about the amount of stitches. I am on the arm holes Ravelry: Kelsey pattern by Kelly Menzies and after row 10, I have 182 stitches. I am not there yet, but there are no decreases so how will I then have 110 stitches? Plus, there is no star to repeat from although the instructions indicate that there should be. Maybe can one of you lovely knitters better explain this to me?
After round 10 you will put both sleeves on hold (36 sts each) and join the front (55 sts) and back (55sts) under the arms to knit the dress in the round.
The astrisk is missing but it will be okay.
Place 36 on hold, remove marker, knit 55, remove marker
Place 36 on hold, remove marker, knit 55. Keep last marker, this becomes beginning of round marker.
So, 55 × 55 will be joined = 110 st
36 sts each side on hold for sleeve
I hope this helps

There’s a very nice video that goes along with this sweet pattern.
At about 24min it addresses just what Creations described.
