Pattern clarification

I am working on my very first project!! I’m working on the Green Gable sweater from Zephyr Style.

The pattern says "repeat parts a & b 5 times each (counting the rounds for part a & part b that you just finished)

So…I’m guessing that means to that the first time I did parts a & b count as 1 out of the 5 repeats? or would I do 5 in addition to those first rounds?

It says to count the rounds a & b that you just completed, so that would mean 5 repeats in [B]total[/B], not 5 repeats in addition to the one you already did.
