Pattern clarification needed

Knitting a vest. Starting to shape armhole. Pattern says:

On Rt side decrease row: slip 1, k 1, ssk, knit to last 4 sts, k2 tog, k2.

Regarding the start of the row, Does this mean slip 1, knit 1, and do an ssk? I’m confused.

You got it. Have you been slipping the first stitch on every row?

No I have not slipped a stitch on every row. Just staring it at this point.

So, I will slip a stitch, knit a stitch, then slip, slip, knit (ssk), and then continue the row as per the pattern. Correct?

Yes, correct. If you need an ssk video there is one in the Free Videos tab.
