Hi All,
After knitting fulfilling several request for the “Branching Out” scarf:woot: , I have received one that would entail adapting the pattern to make a shawl. While my knitting skills are improving daily, I have no idea how I would adapt (increase the stitches) to make a shawl. Can anyone help me with this. I think it would make a lovely shawl.

The easiest way would be to make it into a rectangluar shawl. So do your 4-5 garter stitch border, then follow the chart as many times as you need to make it wide enough, maybe 4-6 times. And maybe add 1 or 2 stitches between each chart repeat. Then put the same 4-5 garter stich border on the other side.
figure out the guage you’re getting with the yarn you’re going to use. Then figure out how many times to repeat the chart to get it as wide as you want.
