I have finally found a solution for index finger needle punctures. If you cut the end of a rubber finger tip, they are clumsy to use on their own, and cover it with a finger cot, both can be purchased at Walmart, the cot holds the tip on, and is very reusable
I’m wondering, what is finger cot??
A finger cot looks like a mini condom and is used to keep bandages dry amongst other uses. They are not expensive and you can find them at the pharmacy. Placed over the snipped tip of the rubber finger on the middle finger not “index” ( sorry about that!) they make a very effective shield against punctures.
Hope this helps.
