I am working on the trinity stich and am wondering, is there a trick to purling 3 together? Its really hard to do! LOL

No problem with KPK in 1 stich, but boy, that P3tog UGH!

Any advise?

Before you do the stitch, take the tip of your right needle and pull the sts a little to loosen them up.
