Do i slip the 2 stitches at the same time and then knit 1 and then try to pass the 2 slipped stitch’s back over the knit stitch and drop them or what…so confused  Can someone explain this to me??
well when you say slip them at the same time do you mean literally at the same time? because then no. You will slip one knitwise, slip another knitwise, knit 1 stitch, and then pass the two slipped stitches back over the 1 knit stitch. basically you are doing a double deacrease. hope that helps.
It says to slip the 2 together, that means at the same time. It makes a different looking increase than if you were to slip them one at at time. So you’re correct Gracie.
So after i pass the 2 stitches back over the knit stitch do i drop them or place them back on the left hook ?
Ok run down to make sure i have this right
I slip the 2 together onto the right hook then i knit 1 then i pass the 2 st. back over the knit st and then what??drop them or put them back on the left hook and knit them??
You will let the two stitches “drop”, but they will form a sort of collar around the knit stitch. So they aren’t dropped in the same sense as the dropped stitch which is a mistake. Your stitch count will go down by 2.
Nope, that’s correct Mrs Davis. Gracie, if you’ve ever done sl 1, k1 psso, it’s exactly the same except you’ve slipped 2 sts instead of 1. This method makes a double dec with the middle st lying on top. The method brendajos suggested, slip them separately, leaves the rightmost stitch on the top.
