OT: Use in place of LEEKS for chicken stock?

Helllp…no leeks were to be found at the store, and I need to get busy on my stock. I have tons of celery, carrots, onions, garlic…etc. Here’s the recipe I’m using. http://www.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml?type=content&id=recipe1984

yup i was gonna say onions too.

Depending on your taste, you might want to use less onion than the amount of leek the recipe calls for…leek is a much milder onion taste than regular onion.
