I was so excited…I went to see Steven Page perform last night here in Kitchener with the Art of Time Ensemble.
He performed songs mostly by other artists, mostly of which I had heard or heard of before (I had heard of the Artists…just not the obscure to me songs)
I didn’t care much about that…as I would pay to listen to the man read the phone book…
I had prior to the show gone though the trouble of asking about getting a photo autographed. In the end, they told me to leave the photo at stage door, and it may or may not get signed. I was expecting as much…
I went to the box office to ask directions to the stage door, and the nice gentleman pointed me out the door directly to my left, and around a corner. With Photo in hand, I walked out the door and straight into the man himself, out having a smoke. He very kindly signed it for me and I went on my way.
I am still a little shocked at my luck. Very cool!!
