Hello everyone… Who else got hit by the storm
Oh BTW… Sorry I’ve been gone
we got two hours of rain last night apparently from 3-5am and it has been snowing since. we are only expecting 1-3 inches of snow but that rain is causing a mess…AND the windchills have us at about 1 degree…brrrrrr
all i wanted was snow…not all this other cwap!
We are also being covered in snow. All schools in the area are closed. I can’t wait to take the kids out and play and go sledding on the small hill near our house. We have not gotten nearly enough snow for Wisconsin this winter. We are supposed to be up near 10 inches before it is done. Nothing compared to the snow that hit the east, but good enough for me.
yeah they cancelled all our schools too… maybe I can get that sock started that I screwed up during the sock class…
DPN’s here I come
Yeah, I should be taking this time to knit instead of reading this, and bidding on yarn on ebay and watching dull tv, etc. Kids are watching Toy Story 2 right now, but we will be doing crafts in a few minutes. It always seems like something is getting in the way of my knitting.
No snow here, but my best friend in Cambridge, ON is snowed in big time. We’ve found winter here though. The current temp is -28°C with a wind chill of -42°C
Yes well, we had quite a wind storm last night. I was freezing! I mean, it was almost down to 40 degrees! Brrrr!
We live amongst the palm trees, so that is cold to us. :happydance:
We’re having a huge downpour with thunder! It’s supposed to get much colder later, though, so we could have lots of ice…
I like snow! If you go to my blog, you can see a few pics I took at the mountain last week (we currently have holidays here in France!).
PA must be the ones having whacky weather… It’s 60 degrees out right now and it feels great! :rofling:
I want cold weather and snow though
We still don’t have much snow (in North Dakota), but we do finally have our first day with high temps in the negative numbers. :wall: I was thinking we’d make it through the entire winter without that, too.
Yeah, well, where we need it we can’t get it??? Go figure - just 30mph wind with 20 degrees - so who knows the wind chill. It’s so dry here you could start a fire just by sneezing! Western Kansas may have been deep under the ocean at one time but it is definitely the great American desert now!
Yeah, I didn’t leave for Michigan today! I’m going to attempt my heel soon.
We had a snow storm last weekend, and now it’s 60 degrees.
Edited to add that the boys just came in from having a snow ball fight in their shirt sleeves. I believe that’s a first.
Wow, Ingrid, that’s worth a photo!
It’s 70 here today, and an ice storm is predicted for Saturday night…
We finally got about 6 inches last night, and right now its 12 degrees F.
Ive got my woolie socks on though
We’re looking at high winds tonight and ice by tomorrow night. Not much snow. Of course, it was in the fifties today. High of 13 on Saturday.
Post some pictures of snow y’all!!!
