My father is artistic. But I think I like knitting for the orderliness of it. My life was a bit chaotic, and things like puzzles, paint-by-number, and then knitting gave me some order and predictability.
My favorite candy is PayDay.

The only thing I belonged to in high school was the African American club. Yep. I’m Swedish-Irish-American. It was during the civil rights movement and we were all trying to avoid clashes and give support.

I don’t have one favorite color. The yarn just kind of speaks to me and tells me who it is for…sometimes I may not know it when I buy it, but it eventually tells me, “Hey, I am meant for that person!!”

as a matter of fact little Frida bean was helping me unwind yarn just a few minutes ago…all over the living room. :roflhard:

The only place I use credit is on line, and the only time I write checks is if they don’t take a payment on line. In the grocery store I use a debit card.
I do spend less on everything if I have to hand out cash, though.
What is one of your pet peeves?
Well I don’t have a pet peeve, have enough pets in the house, besides, they tend to be expensive to feed, water and house…but one thing that annoys me is when somebody doesn’t flush. I know, it’s just a small thing, but still, it’s like leaving a light on or other such nonsense. Don’t want to take this too far, the Peeve might get out. :roflhard:
What do you do when you’re not knitting or on KH?
sigh…i work. I leave my house around 7:30ish…go to my f/t job…leave there at 4:30ish and go to my p/t job that i just can’t bring myself to quit cuz i love it more than the job that pays the bills!. I leave there at 9:30ish and come home to surf a little, knit a little, clean a little, and go to bed! (and some of you wonder why i knit at stop lights! i would never get anything done!!..lol)
