OT - Phantom smells Question

Does anyone else smell things that aren’t there? I’ve been smelling Ludens cough drops all day. We don’t have Ludens cough drops in the house. We haven’t been using cough drops at all today or for several months for that matter.

Wonder what it means?

sometimes I’ll associate a smell with a place or activity, so when I go there I’ll smell the smell even if there isn’t anything there.

Sometimes when I leave work (I’m a nursing assistant) I’ll smell the various smells that occur on the floor, even though I change my clothes there and don’t wear scrubs home.

It could be a form of migraine, too.

Fortunately, cough drops have a pleasant scent. Actually, the scent reminds me of aschoolmate who always had a box of Ludens cherry cough drops. I be in real trouble if it were a stinky smell.

are ya preggers???

that was my FIRST sign…

Ludens!!  When I was little, I used to claim I had a sore throat just so my mom would buy Ludens for me… :shifty:

And yeah, I smell things all the time that aren’t there. (I’m not preggers–this has been going on for most of my life ;)) I have wonky sinuses and a deviated septum, so maybe that’s the problem. I don’t mind as long as the smell is a nice one like Ludens!
