I am on my laptop with a lousy connection and no mouse! :wall: It just went black in the middle of my morning email/forum routine. Hope itās nothing serious, but I may not be around quite as much till I figure it out.

i have only had that happen on my laptop and it was my motherboard. i would guess it was something different on your PC though. is it old-ish? connectors all clean and plugged in and all that?
Oh no Jan! I hate having to use my laptop, I feel like Iām missing a limb. Hope you figure it out soon.
The computer is only a couple years old and I have a fairly new video card. DH out for awhile, but when he comes back weāll check connections and make sure the card is seated properly. I doubt itās the card though based on the way it went out. ughā¦
Ouch! Good thing you have some kind of back up, though. Iād be up the creek!

I called Dell and a new monitor is on the way, no charge to me! It pays to get that extra service on things like computers! :cheering:

LOL you guys! I guess monitor could look like mother. My mom died 33 yrs ago (on Motherās Day :rollseyes: ) so it would have been a shock to me, too!

Have u ever gotten one of the ātravel mousesā , the ones that you just use on your finger and click ? Itās helped me out a lotāfound it at Wally World! Itās called a handheld Tracball. I even use it at my PC so I can sit back and be online.

Iāve been dying to get a laptop so I can sit comfortably in my chair and read the KH forums and blogs!! I didnāt know it would be that bad to look atāIāve got a little mouse thatās a tracball and fits over your finger that really works well for me; I just wish I had a laptopājust one to surf withānot all the fancy burners, etc!! I have been having numbness in my left foot, and the doctor ordered x-rays of my lower back. He called today and said that the x-rays had caught a little of my thoracic spine and that they could see ādegeneraitve disk disease in my Thoraxā. He didnāt seem to think it was affecting my foot, but he told me to get back to x-ray to get all of my spine x-rayed.
Iām a little unsettled, since Iāve had to walk with a cane for several weeks now because of my foot. Could any of yāall who pray you that pray say a little prayer for me this week?? Thanks!

Thank you for changing the title! I kept reading it as mother too and TWICE clicked on it to remember that it said monitor and was about computers and not mother. 
Glad you are getting a new one. I go crazy anytime we donāt have a working computer. Although right now we are doing pretty good with 3 working desktops and 1 working laptop. (can someone find me some wood to knock on?)
