OT: I know something that floats

Things that float:
Small rocks
Bits of wood
Ducks
Fire trucks

Yes, fire trucks. Apparently getting 5 inches of rain in 8 hours will put down enough water to float a fire truck out of a neighborhood into the street! The 7-foot-deep creek about 200 yards from my house was suddenly 100 yards from my house! It’s getting squooshy out here…

Ya forgot Hope

Groan… :teehee:

And churches!

(A floating firetruck makes me crack up, by the way)

Groan… :teehee:
Oh come on, I don’t care who ya are. that was funny.

Mason… not saying it wasn’t funny… but it is still a groan…lol glad you’re back more to yourself, lol

I saw that they were having rain coming down in buckets in areas of TX. Not sure where you are, but stay safe!

BTW…we are 11.34 in below normal. :noway:

“Very small rocks!”
“Bread!”
“Great gravy!”

“A…DUCK!”
“Ex-ACT-ly!”

quick ! bag the yarn! dont let it float away :fingerwag:

“Now, if it ways the sane as a duck…she’s made of wood…and, therefore”
“Did you dress her up like this?”
“NO!”

"…Yeah, a bit."

“But she HAS got a wart!”

“She turned me into a newt!”

“I got better.”

My dad would be so proud of us right now. :teehee:

:roflhard: I love this movie :teehee:

Is this some sort of inside joke?

Because I…don’t…get…it. :??

This is what happens when a thread gets highjacked by Monty Python nerds.

It will either end in hilarity or something terrible.

(We’re reinacting a scene from one of the greatest movies OF ALL TIME: Monty Python and the Holy Grail)

'Elp, 'elp! I’m being oppressed!

Has anyone else heard the Spamalot soundtrack or seen the show? I have the soundtrack, and it’s hilarious!

I got to see it, for free, orchestra seats, original cast. :teehee: Well, Patsy was replaced by his understudy after the first act.

But Hank Azaria as Lancelot and Tim Curry as King Arthur?

Brilliant.
