Whoever does the laundary will put everyone’s clothes away.
Like others have said above, I hang up the hanging clothes and leave the others in the basket. When the basket is needed for the dirty clothes, whatever’s left over gets folded and put away.
I just run into problems when I need clean clothes and my roommate has the laundry room and part of the kitchen filled with her laundry. I can wash everything I wear in 2 loads. The towels and sheets might be another load or 2. I don’t know why she needs so many clothes. :shrug:
I’m another one who never puts my clothes away. I will grab clean clothes out the basket until I run out of underwear, then reluctantly put away the rest of the clothes, then do laundry again, and let it sit there again. :teehee:
The only time I really HATE doing laundry is in the winter. My hubby and I are both large people, so our HUGE sweaters, sweatpants, sweatshirts, jeans, corduroy pants, and cardigans take FOREVER to wash and dry. (plus, my arms get REALLY tired putting them in the machines and taking them back out again.)
Sandy’s dryer fixed/replaced before winter!

I fold all the laundry and take care of putting away all but hubby’s stuff. However, I place his on his side of the bed, where I fold laundry, and to go to bed he has to put it away. I spose he doesn’t have to, but he always does! I have very seldom had to crawl into my side carefully so as not to disturb his neatly folded laundry. :teehee: samm
That’s what I’ve done the last 3 years of our marriage and I guess he just decided the last year or so that he’s not putting his away…grrr.
DH tries, but he’s bad at it. He still believes that there are two colors - white, and everything else. That’s okay, though. He does other housework, so it evens out! :teehee:

maybe u shld talk to him… once my brother alway never wash his cup.he keep using new cups… i collected them all and put it on his bed… u bet he remember to wash it from there on
