Tonight my three year old dd and I were looking at pictures of animals and she saw a Llama and asked me “Was I a Llama when I was an animal.”

Hi, and thank you!
I have found her site on wayback too, but it doesnt work. She had a beautiful graph maker, you could translate your knitting patterns (knitting cables and so on) to beautiful and very useful graphs. I miss her so much.

Well the domain name was re-registered last July, so whoever runs the site is keeping control of the name. Maybe that means they’ll be back? The site is registered through july of this year…

I liked her site too, so when I realized it wasn’t there any more, I downloaded her yardage estimator and her tips pages from google’s cache.

I checked and there was a link to a cable grapher on the tips page. The grapher is still available since it wasn’t from her site in the first place:

What is the grapher for? I looked at it and it looks like maybe it’s for making your own patterns?

I am a visual knitter… I love to just take a glance at a graph and knit.
Many patterns made like this:
Rnd1… do so and so
Rnd 2 do so and so…

You can generate a graph out of written instructions.

Oh okay! I’ve never knitted from a graph before. Have to try it sometime. :wink:
