Sorry no post lately I have been SO BUSY! Christmas day i got the Intestinal Flu and was in the ER, I have been NOT KNITTING very much due to being tired and trying to get the house ready for the little BEAN that we have named OLIVIA CATHERINE BROOKS. I went to the OB yesterday 1-5-06 and they told me not yet lol I go back the 23rd( if she is not here by then) I will be 36 1/2 weeks at that time so we shall see lol. Well off I go I just wanted to post and let everyone know I AM HERE LOL.

I had my daughter at 37.5 weeks.
Thank you I am getting nervous lol not about her being here but the whole giving birth thing lol…I keep telling myself I lived through two rough surgeries and alot of pain before they found out what was wrong so I can do this …we shall see lol. I will post pictures TRUST ME lol…So many Internet Knitting buddy’s from a few groups have sent me outfits from all around the world and I will have to show them all off !!! AND the ones I have made lol…Thank You again and I PROMISE I will get pictures on here.

oh you are so lucky! i don’t even know how far a long i am. i haven’t been knitting either…to tired and my hands get swollen after 5 minutes of knitting that i can’t continue! i envy you you are almost done. is this your first?
I have been pregnant 6 times before but never could get past first tri. So this is our first little one I am so excited!!! My hubby and I have lost 2 together I was married before and we lost 1 . The other 3 I lost when I was with my boy friend from age 18-21 . I am so excited I know hubby is too but he is not showing it as much as me lol.

WOW Congrats! Waiting is so hard! Especially when you are soooo close! And I hated not being able to knit in the end, not like I could do anything else.
Most Dhs are a little intimidated and dont really get all that excited until you can take the baby home and call them your own. LOL Thats when us mommas start freaking out about everything!

wow 6 miscarriages!!! well i’m on my 5th now and just had my 4th 7 months ago :doh: . my husband is way more excited than am ! hope it is everything you hoped for and good luck!

Thank you so much…It took us a while to figure out what we wanted lol…Well hubby likes the first name but not to wild about the middle but hey it was my grandma’s …we decided together on first name i think i am allowed to name her middle name after my grandma lol. I am very close to having her my due date is 2-17-06 but she dropped new years weekend and i have been cleaning A LOT this week, so we will see. I am going to head off to bed hope you all are knitting some really cool stuff!

Olivia is such a beautiful name
DH and I didn’t pick DS’s name until 2 days before he was born. We had a girls name but not a boys name. Since we didn’t know what we were having, we didn’t want to leave it to fate that we would have a girl and not have to worry about it. PHEW!!!

The first one is a little scary, but as long as you have someone you can call at 3am when the baby won’t sleep and you don’t know what to do 
you’ll be fine.
And once she’s home, you’ll have many years of knitting things for her to look forward to!! :XX:
