Just ran across this link that lets you enter your yarn, gauge and needle size (plus other measurements) to come up with a customized sock pattern.

I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but it certainly is intriguing! Can’t wait 'til Christmas so I can give this a try!

I decided to swatch some yarn & measure my DD to see how this works out … like I have time for this. :rollseyes:

Thanks, Rebecca! I just printed out my ‘customized’ pattern, and I’ll give it a try as time permits. I don’t know if I measured DD’s calf correctly, so we’ll see how these turn out. Yikes!
