Yep, seems as though I frog as much as I knit! Many, many things end up in the frog pond…what’s up with that  ?! Have I not knit before?! Have I lost all ability to control my tension  What is going on with me these days
The answer…beats me :pout:
Anyway, I’ve had this lovely for some time…it’s Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, a yummy cotton/wool blend! The reason for ordering this yarn was for a top for my sister. I had to finish other projects, then find just the right top for her…I found it, Rusted Root and I cast on a few days ago…I was trying to knit loosely (don’t really know why, just giving it a try) and I wasn’t having a lot of fun. A few minutes ago RR looked like
with a wonky st I had completely missed
and I just didn’t like the look of my knitting…so Rusted Root now looks like
I do so hope that I will have a nicely knitted, ressurected RR in a few days
Becka - I know why it happened. The yarn enjoyed being knit BY YOU so much, it tricked you into doing it again!
LOL, you are too sweet Amy
That is a gorgeous sweater and I don’t see any wonky stitches!
Sometimes frogging can be a great stress reliever, dontcha think?

Aww, good for you for showing it who’s boss! Dangit, if those stitches don’t want to behave, you TELL them to behave.
Hope the second time around goes by quickly for you.
Thanks, guys, this time around is going much better! I had hoped to have it done for her by this Sunday, but I don’t know yet if that’s gonna happen…I’ve not knit much on it since I frogged.
I think some people hate how much I am always on here asking advice about adjusting patterns for gauge. But if I can’t get the gauge or tension I’m supposed to have, I just adjust the pattern to fit mine. I can knit MY WAY all day long. But if I am trying to hard to “get gauge”, it never ends up the way I started.
Oh yeah, and yarn and needles. Sometimes the yarn I pick for things just doesn’t work. But again, that’s me.
Keep at it, you will bend that yarn to your iron will yet!
LOL, you are too funny! I have done just that, too…bent the yarn to my will …my snug knitting style is what it is, I am not now and never will be a loose knitter. I’m not a tight knitter like I was when I first began knitting, but loose…that just ain’t happenin’
An older woman in our stitching group used to teach knitting a fair amount. She said they called her “Bess the Ripper” because when someone made a mistake and asked if it would matter if they left it, should would tell them, rip it out! Rip it out! You won’t be happy later if you leave it
Sorry you had to spend time in the frog pond. Too bad our ponds aren’t closer or we could have visited while sitting in the ponds, seems I have been there more lately than not.
Mama Bear
LOL, sounds to me like “Bess the Ripper” knew exactly what she was talking about
I am much happier with Rusted Root since I started over!
