? on hat pattern

Here’s what the pattern says
Round 1: *k 13(14, 15), k2tog (together), repeat from * 84 (90, 96)sts
Round 2: k
Round 3: *k 12 (13, 14), k2tog, repeat from * 78 (84, 90)sts
Round 4: k
Round 5: *k 11 (12, 13), k2tog, repeat from * 72 (78, 84)
Round 6: k

Continue in this manner until 48 sts remain, then decrease every round until 6 sts remain.

So by the end of sts going down to get to 47, I have *K7,K2tog.When it’s time to decrese every row, do I *K7,K2tog? Does that make sense?

Here’s what the rest will look like:

Round 7: K10, K2tog all around (=66, 72, 78 )
Round 8: knit
Round 9: K9, K2tog all around (=60, 66, 72)
Round 10: Knit
Round 11: K8, K2tog all around (=54, 60, 66)
Round 12: Knit
Round 13: K7, K2tog all around (=48, 54, 60)
Round 14: FOR SMALL SIZE K6, K2tog all around (=42)
MEDIUM & LARGE: Knit
Round 15: SMALL: K5, K2tog (=36)
MEDIUM & LARGE: K6, K2tog (=48, 54)
Round 16: SMALL: K4, 2tog (30)
MEDIUM: K5, K2tog (42)
LARGE: Knit
Round 17: SMALL: K3, K2tog (24)
MEDIUM: K4, K2tog (36)
LARGE: K5, K2tog (48 )
Round 18: SMALL: K2, K2tog (18 )
MEDIUM: K3, K2tog (30)
LARGE: K4, K2tog (42)
Round 19: SMALL: K1, K2tog (12)
MEDIUM: K2, K2tog (24)
LARGE: K3, K2tog (36)
Round 20: SMALL: K2tog (6)
MEDIUM: K1, K2tog (18 )
LARGE: K2, K2tog (24)
Round 21: MEDIUM: K2tog (12)
LARGE: K1, K2tog (18 )
Round 22: MEDIUM: K2tog (6)
LARGE: K2tog (12)
Round 23: LARGE: K2tog (6)
