I was working on my Irish hiking scarf last night when I RAN OUT of yarn!!! That darn thing is still not long enough so I will have to order another hank. :frowning: I was really hoping that I could finish it before the end of winter. Ahhh well. The bright side is that my DH told me that I could order more yarn. And he did not specifiy only for my scarf he just said more yarn :wink: So I guess I will have to work on other projects untill I can get my yarn. :doh:

:shock: I just went to order more… it won’t be availible until MARCH! :crying: Ahhh well at least it will be ready by the time next winter rolls around! :rollseyes:

I have been working on this scarf for a while myself. Knitty Gritty recommends when making a scarf for a good fit to make it as long as your own height. I’m 6 ft one! :shock: But I’m using Angel Hair from Joannes so when I run out I get my 40% off coupon from the paper and get just one skein.

You’re 6’1"!!! :shock: I’m envious. I’m a whopping 5’ 2"…oh, and a 1/4 inch. That 1/4 inch is very important. :wink:

I’d check back in a week or so. KP told Angelia that the Merino Style she ordered in Coal wouldn’t be available until March, but I ordered some recently and received it. It might come in sooner than they estimated.

:thinking: Thanks FG I just might have to do that! I don’t have to much further to go on it I honestly that that 1 skien will cover it. I think that is what makes this more frustrating than normal. Ahhh well.
