…and the things they do to “help” us. :roflhard:
Those are too cute! :roflhard:
When I (jokingly) suggested knitting a sweater for our cat my husband just looked at me like, “Ummm no. I don’t think so.”
Oh no! Those are just too cute for words!!!:chair: I am such a lover of cats. Thanks for sharing these.
Jeanie
Doesn’t the li’l guy in the last picture…the one in the green and yellow hoodie…just scream “Frodo in the LOTR”. So cute!!! The holes in the hood for his little ears are adorable!
:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: :chair: :chair: Love it!!! I needed a good laugh today. So far, I have made my “Molly” a couple of soft blankets to curl up on. I like the leg warmers-hmmmmmmm. :teehee:
We had a pair of beautiful kittens brought to us one year. Earl died young and his sister, who was very attached to him, was so upset that she overgroomed until she was stark naked from the neck to the base of her tail. It was late fall and getting cold, and she was miserable. I made her a dog sweater and sneaked up on her to put it on (she was completely feral at the time.) She looked outraged for a minute, then sat there wide-eyed, staring at me. In a minute, she went up to look out the window, where she hadn’t been because of the cold. She wore that sweater all winter! By spring, her pretty coat had grown out, so she took the sweater off one day and left it where she could lie on it instead.
She had to be one of the smartest cats I ever knew and turned out to ber one of the most affectionate. We all miss her, but we’re sure glad she was here.
That’s so sweet, Becky. Most cats don’t need (or like) sweaters, but your cat obviously did.
Warm and angry cats.
Stupid software won’t upload 2 photos together
This would make a very nice sweater in human size, or sox for me. .
Lol, I put mine out in the snow… she had a great time until she fell through all the way to her chin, then she was in a bit of a pissy mood lol.
Keep the camera handy.
:chair: Fantastic - I needed a laugh… HOW did they get them on the cats in the first place??? Mine would be tearing strips if I even approached them with a legwarmer!!! lol
They’re not my photos, they’re from the web. Jan’s are mostly or totally from a site called icanhazcheezburger.com.
LOLOLOL - thanks, I needed this!
It never occurred to me to even try putting sweater on a cat!..and I have a rather baldy cat which licks herself incessantly, won’t sit near the window, let alone go outside. I might try it. Are those simply legwarmers?
They’re all set up just for the camera, or some might be photoshopped. We don’t know if the cats are really tolerating their garments.
Sound like your cat has a skin allergy. She needs to be tested at your vet.
The cat in my avatar had food allergies and she would lose her fur on her back legs, butt and lower back. Losing fur and licking seems to be one way they show it. Your poor kitty is probably itchy!
These shots were all from Cheezeburger and most of them. IMO none of these appear to be photoshopped. Most look like natural shots, a few possibly set up, but a most of them were probably just quick shots before the cat went postal on them.
Lol, I’d like to see some postal shots
For the life of me I can’t find it now, but on Raverly there was a lady who knit sweaters for her little Dachsund all the time and posted video’s of it in them. However, the poor thing hated them. She’d put it on him and he’d just freeze. Completely stop moving.
She could photoshop a photo, and save herself all that knitting.
