Hi there,

Was looking at our lists, and the great progress we are making:woot:

It looks like we should start at least one more preemie blanket, as we only have one spot left on one blanket!

What do you all think? Cotton Candy, Sweet Dreams, Just Ducky, Neon Fun, Fluffy Clouds, Powder Puff, Pink Power, Soft Hugs, Lemon Drops, Bubblegum, Tutti Fruitti, and Forest Greens are all names that the main group has used in the past (thanks, gmmarton, for compiling the list :muah:)

Who’d like to get one started? It should be on size 6 needles. I can send some out if people need, or you can use your own and send it to me on waste yarn.

I can start a Preemie on 6’s…I’ve got the needles. How about calling it Tutti Frutti? Soft yellows, soft pinks, white, soft blue…I’ve got the ideal yarn to start it with…it just came in the mail yesterday. Let me know! Thanks!

i’ve actually seen yarn that was called tutti fruti, i used it to make an amazing blanket and it was yellow with reds, pinks, and blues

Tutti Frutti and Save the Sound have been started. I will try and finish them today and post them tomorrow. If not then, then next Wednesday as I will be traveling during the next few days.

I’ve got yarn that would work for Sweet Dreams, I think, and one that would work for Cotton Candy - or Tutti Frutti. I’d be willing to start one, or you can add me to Tutti Frutti - or both. As long as nothing else arrives in the next few days, it’s good:mrgreen:

gmmarton is :knitting: speedily knitting her little fingers to the bone up there, churning out blankets while she is still on summer vacation :teehee:, so we should probably hold off on starting another preemie blanket until we get a few more knitters for this one. LilHuskiesFootballMom is going to start one as well, but the needle won’t arrive for a few days at least.

Anyone else interested in helping out on Tutti Frutti? I’ll post on Ravelry, too.

I received the Rainbow blanket yesterday!! I need to go buy some green yarn for my part. :cheering: I love buying yarn!!

Got home today, and there was the blanket waiting for me! i was so excited. i took a picture, then started working on it right away. thanks sooooo much for the yarn, I LOVE IT! :heart: here is the pic without what i have done

I finished up Rainbow Sherbet Preemie Blanket last night:cheering: I used a pale yellow for lemon - my favorite! I’ll try to get some pictures up tomorrow.

mdc550 from ravelry, has crocheted an entire preemie blanket to add to our efforts! :cheering: She has also expressed an interest in helping us with borders when we need it.

She took great pains to make the holes as tiny as possible. Here’s a corner of her beautiful work.

I mailed out “Tutti Fruitti,” a Northeastern Preemie Oddball Baby Blanket, to threesmom this morning. I worked in Bernat’s Softee Baby’s [I]Tutti Fruitti[/I] in the Farrow Rib stitch. Delivery Confirmation # is as follows: 0306 2400 0000 8915 6286. I didn’t take a picture because there was just too much activity happening here today!
