We’re looking for 4 more Northeast Oddball knitters who would like to work on Preemie Blanket #4, Rainbow Sherbert. I’m casting on with soft pink, and was thinking we’d go more for sherbert-looking colors (soft green, soft yellow, cream, etc.), and not necessarily follow the order of the rainbow. Anyone interested? Please let us know!

Since the West Coasters have clearly jumped the gun, and threesmom was kind enough to break the ice, gmmarton and I decided to post the pics we’ve been collecting of the blankets that have been secretly started and circulating ahead of our August 1st start date :teehee:
Here’s Nor’Easter, done with a ripple stitch, to look like whitecaps:

Here’s Special Delivery, our first preemie blanket, done in Garter Rows Rib, with a close up of the stitch pattern, which I love:
I forgot to take a pic of Garter Garden before sending it on to gmmarton, but hopefully she has a pic of her completed portion, which is ready to head out to Lisa1216!
Our super speedy knitter, gmmarton, has also finished her portion of Northeast Rainbow, which will be heading to kellee0302 soon!
I’ve cast on for Independence Day, and gmmarton has cast on for Save the Sound and Rainbow Sherbet :woohoo:

threesmom has shown us her gorgeous work on Mermaid Tails, I can’t wait to get that and add another stunning color! What a great idea for a color palette. :happydance:
