Can any one advise a cheaper equivalent for Noro iron wool…its really expensive in the uk?

What exactly did you want to match up? the fibre content (75% wool, 25% silk); the texture, the color stripping? Are you felting it? What are you planning to make?
I’ve used Patons SWS as a substutite for Noro yarns. It has long runs of colors so it makes a similar striping effect. Not sure what the pricing is in UK, though.
