No Place Like Home KAL

I am wondering the best way to get an answer on the pattern? I have left a question on YouTube but wonder if there is a better way? I got my kit late so am behind and will never finish this in 8 wks anyway. Right now my question why wk 1 the left border says to do moss stitch 10 rows but wk 2 says to do moss stitch for 11 rows on right border. But I know I’ll have more questions! Thank you!

Welcome!
You might try a message to the designer, Emma Wright, on Ravelry.

Thank you!

I’ve left my question on Emma’s website and still no answer.

Do you want to quote the 2 rows that give the conflicting directions? Maybe if we see the context of the directions it’ll make sense to someone. Don’t quote a large portion of the pattern due to copyrights, please.

On week 1 directions after knitting the panel, you pick up 2xx stitches on the edge of the panel and knit 10 rows of border and cast off for left border. On week 2, panel is same length, and for right border, pick up same number of stitches for right border but knit 11 rows and cast off. Do not want to finish panel until I know if cast off for border after 10 or 11 rows or is this correct that you have one border with 10 rows and the other border with 11 rows. Thank you.
Did not state exact # stitches picked up for copyright.

Aha, the designer is responding to questions below the video here. Scroll down to see them.

There seem to be a couple of questions about the border sts on the sides of different panels. See if the replies help.

Unfortunately none of those answer my question. Thank you for trying!

Can you post your question?
I’m wondering if the 10 row border plus cast off is the end of the throw and the right border is preliminary to working the next panel.

The question is in previous post in this chain and from what I can see so far, you don’t do anything else to the left and right borders except to connect to top and bottom of blanket. Hope the designer isn’t ill.

Sorry, I meant can you post your question to the video site along with the others on the topic of the throw.

I have in the second week video, also on Facebook site for the KAL, also on designer’s website. Maybe I’ll post again on week 1.

Thank you!

Alex

Okay, I just read the instructions for about the 10th time and realize my mistake! Sorry to have asked for so much help, but I thank you for being so responsive.
